Lawn care, a la carte.
Pick what the lawn needs.
Feeding, weed control, aeration and seeding, soil testing, winterization and summer protection. Each one on its own, timed to the season by a licensed applicator. Pest plan members get member rates.
Pick what you need. We look at the property and text you a number, usually the same day.
Six lawn services. Each one on its own.
Each page says what it fixes and when it happens. Pick one or pick five, it is one quote.
Weed control
Crabgrass blocked in April before it sprouts. Perennial weeds killed in fall, when the kill holds.
DetailsAeration and overseeding
Plugs pulled, seed dropped into the holes, August 15 to October 5. The one window this area gets.
DetailsFertilization
Five feedings timed to the soil, including the late fall one you are not allowed to do yourself.
DetailsSummer drought protection
Deep roots, a taller cut and a watering plan. Built in spring and fall so July does not wreck it.
DetailsWinterization
The last feeding before December 1, the last cut and the leaves off. How a lawn looks good in March.
DetailsSoil testing
One lab test says what is missing and whether the grass can even use what you put on it.
DetailsNot sure what the lawn needs?
Tell us what it looks like. We look at it and send a number the same day.
How the season runs.
Every visit is timed to the soil and the plant, not a calendar. You get a text after each one.
April to June
Crabgrass blocker, first feeding, spring weed control, lime if the soil test calls for it.
July and August
Light summer feeding, grub prevention, mowing height and watering plan for the heat.
August 15 to October 5
Core aeration and overseeding in the Rutgers window, fall weed control.
Before December 1
The winterizer feeding, the last cut, leaves off.
Where we work.
Based in Bernardsville. The Somerset Hills and the Morris County towns around it, about 20 minutes out. Close by and not on the list? Ask.
Quick answers.
Do I have to buy a whole program?
No. Every lawn service is sold on its own. Pick what the lawn needs this season, we quote it, and add more later if you want. Pest plan members get lawn work at member rates.
What should a thin, patchy lawn get first?
Aeration and overseeding in the fall window, then the winterizer feeding. That is the pair that thickens a lawn. Feeding and weed control keep it that way next year.
Is there a contract?
Not before anyone has seen the lawn. We look, send a number, and you decide.
When does the season start?
The first visit is the crabgrass blocker in early April. Winterization is the last, before December 1.
